I combine Fraps and Audacity for capturing audio; the sound quality is great, though the files tend to be big. It’s definitely worth the effort.

The dxtory is a lossless format, meaning you'll typically see bigger files. To reduce size, try lowering quality or turning on compression. You also have options to record in 720p while keeping 1080p playback, which can further shrink the file.
