I’m searching for reliable tools to manage your fans via the desktop. You’re using Windows 8.1 and 6, so let me know if you’d like recommendations. Thanks for reaching out!

If your ASUS motherboard is compatible, AI Suite 2 will be available.

HWmonitor and OpenHardwareMonitor are designed for case fans and work mainly with voltage regulation. They don't handle PWM-controlled fans unless specified.

I actually visited to ask the same thing, but for my Lenovo Ideapad Y500 and a mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro. I'm just trying to adjust more intense fan settings for both, since they get too hot. I plan to test speedfan tomorrow.

I rely on Corsair Link, but with my H100i it doesn’t perform well on Windows 8.1. I saw a Tek Syndicate video maybe once and thought it might help.

This software is designed specifically for Asus hardware, so it may not function properly on non-Asus systems. Your setup with the Z87-K works well, but you might want to consider alternatives that support broader compatibility.
