Software for Lumion runs on just two cores.
I'm dealing with a peculiar problem involving several PCs. They have Z390 ASRock and MSI boards, an i7 9700K and an 2080s graphics card, plus 32GB DDR4 3600 RAM. The Lumion software is only utilizing two of its eight cores, which seems to be causing the GPU to become a bottleneck. Even when rendering simple scenes, it takes hours. I'm unsure why this happens. Have others experienced something similar? Is this just how Lumion operates, or should I upgrade my CPU? Any suggestions on optimization would be appreciated. I've tried reinstalling Windows, updating drivers, reinstalling Lumion, updating BIOS, changing OS settings, using different GPUs, and installing SSDs. If possible, I'd prefer to stay with the current setup due to budget constraints. Appreciate your help!
