Software for copying or relocating files
Hello, thank you for your message. I encountered issues with File Explorer, received errors, and lost a significant amount of data.
That's why I'm not using it anymore and am looking for a better alternative.
It seems the issue might lie with your Windows or the drives involved, possibly the USB port when using an external drive. The built-in copy/paste function works well on a functioning system.
If you're using Windows 10 or 11, consider installing WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and running Linux commands such as cp or rsync. However, hardware problems won't improve the situation.
Classic RichCopy64 ideal for transferring multiple files at once with verification, available for all versions of Windows.
