Upgrade your HDD to 10 format, then set up 10 on the SSD. Once done, unplug the HDD.

I would perform a fresh setup. If you truly need to move, Clonezilla is available for free without unnecessary software or ads: http://clonezilla.org/ You place the installer onto a disc or USB drive (170MB) and start your computer from it. It offers its own interface. Check out a tutorial video beforehand.
