I recently purchased a new bass multi-effects pedal supporting USB DI, but I don’t have recording programs beyond Audacity that function adequately. I’m now seeking alternatives similar to Pro Tools or GarageBand, compatible with Windows 7, and preferably free or low-cost, since my main goal is experimenting with recordings at the moment.

Obtain the necessary plugins directly. If you prefer, you can use Eleven Rack, though it comes at a higher cost.
