The only method to boost that processor speed is through the BIOS settings. Certain graphics cards support this via software, though most processors and boards don’t allow it.

Bios is the top choice, I haven't found any better method. I'd watch tutorials about the BIOS screen (Linus/NCIX has some guides on how to modify Intel CPU settings) to get familiar with it. BIOS features are quite similar across models. Begin with simple steps and gradually advance.

Carefully read the instructions at the link provided. Record each BIOS setting or take photos so you can restore your previous configuration later. Followed the steps thoroughly, achieved the AMD FX-6300 at 4.5 GHz, and enjoyed the process.
