Hey there, I'm trying to resolve some persistent crashes to desktop when launching multiple games or installing software. Recently, starting Jedi Survivor triggered this exact issue, and the crash log reads: "LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')".

Here are my system details:
- OS: Windows 11, 64-bit, Version 25H2
- BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 0812, 2023-02-24
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z790-A WIFI ATX
- CPU: Intel i9-13900k
- GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4090
- RAM: G.skill Trident Z5 RGB, 64GB DDR5-6400
- SSD: WD Black SN850X (1TB) + WD Black SN850X (2TB) for games

I've tried a few workarounds: adding -dx11 to game shortcuts, which helped in some cases but not always. I also checked my drivers, cables, and power connections, but nothing changed.

Possible causes people mention online:
1. Intel CPU instability – I own an i9-13900k, which has been a hot topic for reliability issues.
2. RAM instability – I disabled the 6400 XMP profile without success.
3. GPU overclocking – I haven’t adjusted it yet.
4. Unreal Engine switching device modes – could be changing between DEDICATED and INTEGRATED while the app runs.

I’m curious if this is related to any known problems with Intel CPUs or graphics drivers. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Yes, you can usually turn off the integrated graphics (iGPU) through the system's BIOS or UEFI settings. Check your motherboard manual or manufacturer website for specific instructions.
