I favor Avast. It feels more like a friendly nudge than a harsh warning, unlike AVG which can seem overly aggressive. Just avoid Norton—it's like being constantly called to your door every half hour.

I favor Avast personally. AVG performs well in my view, though it can feel a bit heavy (maybe it's getting better). MBAM works well for cleaning systems but isn't ideal for real-time defense.
