I mostly rely on malwarebytes scans from time to time. My antivirus is built into my system. (This isn’t a great plan, I don’t suggest it) But I did have some solid results with the later versions of bullguard. It offers protection from Norton without being too intrusive or overly dependent.

I previously used Bullguard but completely forgot about it... I might try it again now.

I understand, though it remains quite excellent. The upgraded edition includes live safeguarding to shield against harmful sites.

McAfee isn't inherently bad. It often includes downloadable programs that can be both helpful and annoying, which sometimes tarnishes its reputation. I rely on my mom, who works for a company handling thousands of daily calls and boasts a 99% customer approval rating.
