Hi there! Does anyone know why I am getting so many events in my System event logs from UserModePowerService? Like, a new one is coming every few seconds! There are literally tens of thousands of these events happening! See the screenshot. OS: Windows 11 Home, Computer type: Laptop, Manufacturer/Model: ASUS X1502ZA, CPU: Intel i5-1240P, Memory: 8 GB DDR4, Graphics Card: Intel UHD Graphics, SSD: 512 GB PCIe M.2, BIOS version: 312 Windows Build/Version: Windows 11 22H2 OS Build 22621.1848 Is this a problem? It doesn't seem normal. Thanks for any help!

You can try this on a Lenovo forum post about fixing Intel 12th gen CPU bugs. There is one fix to set the power profile to Maximum Performance. Maybe there is another way in a Dell community thread.

A quick note: I see now that these events show up only when the laptop is on battery power. When I plug it in, they don't show up. At least not if it's fully charged and plugged in. I'll try to test with it on charging mode to see if they still pop up. Thanks a lot, hotaru.hino, for your reply. I will check those links you sent me.

I'll help you clean up the Event Viewer logs by removing the old stuff so you see only what's happening right now. This way, there is less clutter and more room for new things to show up.
