Hi Everyone,
I've been observing that my 360 radiator emits a strong odor when I power on the PC. After about two seconds, the smell disappears. It's not a burning scent; it smells more like something rotting. Could anyone provide some advice or hints? I'm using a custom watercooled setup with an EC performance 360 radiator and three fans. Thanks!

had that as well with XLC Predator 360, likely some bad coating quality from fins or micro tubes. You can soak the radiator core in lubricants to ensure ports are tightly secured, then flush and rinse with car shampoo. Air dry completely—avoid using a hair dryer or air compressor.

What substance is present in the loop? When was the most recent replacement?

The liquid inside the loop is a Mayhems color, originally purchased from ek but made by Mayhems. It is pastel blue and was last changed two weeks ago.
