I located a screen cover for my phone made of tempered glass with 0.26 mm thickness. I’ll order it tomorrow and also try the screen before applying it.
I bought a fresh mask and the original cover. The person tried to put the mask on, so I handed him my phone. When he applied it, the old cover had sharp edges that cut into the mask and lifted the screen protector on all sides. I went home and carefully took off the damaged protector, noticing scratches on the screen. I’m unsure if it was from how I removed it or from the cashier who installed the mask. My phone still showed some scratches on the glass I tested without any cover, though they were less obvious. The new protector I got is designed for my phone but has a little gap on the sides, so it doesn’t fit perfectly. At least this new one hides the scratches.
