Smart (Active) LED light strip kit is designed for monitoring purposes.
Hello! I’m looking for advice on smart LED strips suitable for my monitor. I have a 34” ultra wide screen and am planning an upgrade, so I want to add these to my list. I’m not sure what the right names are—examples I know include Govee Dream Lights and Corsair LS100 kits. I’d like to explore more options and see how software interacts with hardware. Any information would be helpful!
If you own additional Corsair products in your system, whether inside or outside your build, it’s best to use a single ecosystem for consistency. Mixing RGB/ARGB LED apps often causes problems or incorrect results. Could you provide the links to the LED kits you’re considering? They are usually referred to as ambient or environment lighting.
Thank you for the assistance! It seems the Govee G1 isn't available yet. It might be a hardware-only product or an app that uses a camera. I already have several Corsair items, including a Ram, keyboard, and headset. Corsair iCUE LS100 LED Smart Lighting Strip Starter Kit is also available on Amazon.
I understand why someone might prefer corsair, but the Govee kit closely replicates screen colors for a highly immersive feel. Right now, corsairs' options don't match that quality. I own a smart kit on my TV, and it's truly incredible.
It seems they'll be released on the 9th, so I'm planning to review some feedback before deciding. The G1 model supports a maximum screen size of 30 inches, which should fit my needs.
If someone finds this, I purchased the Lytmi Pro Immersion Monitor Backlight for Windows. They work fine in general. The colors aren't exceptional, but they still enhance the overall feel.
