I know that whole-house protection is the best approach, and I'm exploring it. We've experienced two incidents recently, with the latest damaging our 5050ub. I'm installing new Ethernet cable, relocating the router, and adding a new switch, among other upgrades. I'm searching for a compact surge protector with equipment safeguarding. For the new AV device on three shelves, I need a small surge protector—single row or even smaller—to connect the router/modem, the switch, and possibly a couple of other devices. It appears the top options are the larger three-row models from brands like Belkin, but one would occupy an entire shelf, which isn't ideal. I'm hoping for something more compact. Thanks.
