Hello everyone. I recently got a new PC in July. The system specs are: CPU Ryzen 5 7500F, motherboard B650M, 16 GB RAM, an SSD/HDD setup of 256 NVMe and 1 TB HDD, and a RTX 5060 graphics card. The operating system is Windows 11 (activated). From the beginning, whenever I try to download something from Steam, the speed is limited to 2.9 Mbps. I was curious about this because during a game download (CS2), the redistributables were queued first, so I downloaded them first and then the speed improved. However, due to some issues, I couldn't keep the PC running overnight. When I restarted it to continue the download, the speed dropped again to around 2.5–3.0 Mbps or less. I rebooted several times with redistributables installed and still faced the same problem, only returning to 15–17 Mbps the next day. I’m looking for a permanent solution since this fix isn’t reliable. The download speeds are also fine on Epic Games and Riot Games when using an Ethernet cable. I need assistance and would appreciate help. Cheers.

Open Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) to track system performance.
Observe the system while engaging in other tasks where speed remains normal or unconstrained.
Aim to understand resource usage patterns, extent, and consumption of each resource.
Keep the respective tool windows open for continuous monitoring.
Download something from Steam during this process.
Notice any changes in behavior.
It may require some experimentation to identify details—consistency and careful observation are essential.
Make adjustments one at a time.

It seems there might be a problem with your connection to the CDN. This issue hasn't been encountered before and has already been fixed by changing your download region, so I don’t have any particular guidance on how to proceed.
