Slowing down the pace of Kingdoms of Amalur
Hey everyone, I just uploaded a video about this problem I’m facing. It’s happening no matter the frame rate—around 70 to 80 FPS—as I walk through the game world without any combat. The issue is that the game keeps slowing down randomly, like if someone at 60 MPH presses the brake every two seconds and then speeds up again. I spent considerable effort on this game across various PC configurations, yet I haven't observed any frame drops like this.
Adjusting the settings to a minimal level and checking further.
Played the game once more using fraps enabled, and there were no frame rate drops. I'm running it at 3K resolution with 32x CSAA and 8x supersampling.
No way, it's actually happening. Did you test the game speed while playing?
