While testing my connection, I noticed very low download speeds—around 50 kb/s. My internet is solid for streaming and Steam, but browsing other sites feels extremely sluggish.

Get the trial of Internet Download Manager valid for 30 days to test its performance. If it meets expectations, it’s worth the cost. Also install TCP Optimizer, operate it in admin settings, adjust the slider to your internet speed, select the adapter you want to modify, and click optimal at the bottom right. Save your changes, pick backup settings, and restart your PC. Note: TCP Optimizer is a free tool available here... https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php
