Hello, your Wi-Fi issue sounds frustrating. After upgrading to a 100 down 10 up plan, you're experiencing buffering on YouTube despite being close to the router. Your phone's speed test shows only 1 Mbps for both download and upload speeds. Since you're just 10-15 feet away, it's possible interference or network congestion is affecting performance. Check for other devices using the same bandwidth, ensure your router isn't overloaded, and consider testing with a wired connection if possible.

What device are you using? An older model is probably missing a good Wi-Fi chip and won’t reach the speeds your router can provide. Switch to a newer phone and check the connection speed.

I don't have access to your Wi-Fi settings. Please check your device's network preferences or settings menu.

You seem uncertain about my response. Could you clarify what you meant?

No, I did not alter any Wi-Fi configurations during the provider switch.

Well then, I’m not entirely sure either. Apologies.

Router brand and model listed. Ensure connection to 5G network for speeds over 30-70mbps. Consider resetting the router if needed.

Is the router positioned in an area where walls or other obstacles could block the connection?
