Slow performance with Samsung Evo Plus NVMe drivers!!!
I own an ASUS ROG Z490 gaming motherboard paired with an Intel i7 10700K. The board includes two M.2 slots using PCIe 3.0 x 4, but on Samsung Magic Disk one of them (the C drive) displays PCIe 3.0 x 2, which is causing the slowdowns. I’m facing this issue lately... any advice?
Open the BIOS settings and adjust M.2_2 to x4 mode, which will turn off SATA ports #5 and #6. Are users following the user's manual when issues arise?

They are present inside the box alongside the motherboard, which is the usual setup. I still have a lot of items scattered on my shelves. But he just moved them. I’m not sure what this is, but I hope it didn’t damage anything or disrupt the space-time flow. It seems simpler to post on a forum for younger users and let others handle the task. Same outcome, less effort, obvious choice (for them). OP – be careful with any devices connected to those Sata ports; avoid using them later.
I just tried it... it functioned but the SATA ports were turned off. I have a 1 TB HDD... all my files are there! ?? PS. I move around a lot because of my job, so I didn’t notice the motherboard cases or other stuff. It’s in my last place to stay!
