I only realized that when the system asked for a restart to refresh certain parts. Maybe it was just the Windows update, or possibly the Killer e2500 network drivers.

There were numerous files in a folder, ranging from tiny to massive sizes (15kb to over 400MB). I attempted to move the entire folder and subfolders, as well as a compressed file and a single ISO, but the issue remained. After rebooting Windows, everything worked fine. The transfer speeds seemed normal, though still constrained by my outdated 54Mbps router. It’s not a major problem—54Mbps is sufficient for my current needs, but I plan to upgrade when I see more affordable gigabit routers (new or used).
