Apex on your PC has been updating for hours and reached about 80 Mbps, yet it stays near the same range as before. Your older Xbox One S works smoothly with consistent speeds of 100–200 Mbps. The problem seems to be specific to your setup or recent changes.
Speedtest provides an estimate of your internet speed when using a PC directly linked to the router through Ethernet, with no other activities running. Your typical connection method to the router remains unchanged, while the Xbox's performance is influenced by the server load at the time of testing.
The game server typically doesn't speed up downloads significantly. Make sure you're using an SSD with a fast CPU and enough free space on both SSD and HDD. Keeping the HDD defragmented also helps performance.
