Hey everyone, I'm making some changes to my home network setup after waiting too long for an upgrade. I've noticed that downloading files via browser or torrent is significantly slower than using internal storage or copying to NAS. It seems like the data has to go back and forth a few times, which slows things down. I have rough estimates: internet speeds range from 8-12MB/s to 2.5-4.5MB/s when going directly to NAS. The idea I had was to save everything to internal storage first and then copy it over to NAS. That way, I could avoid the extra steps. I did some calculations and found that direct downloads to NAS can be anywhere from 35% to 75% faster than other methods. Would it be worth setting up an automatic process to move files to a temporary internal location before copying? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
