Slow boot after OC?
Slow boot after OC?
I updated the settings by setting the core to 1.115v and the multiplier to 35. Gradually I increased both the multiplier and voltage until errors appeared. Recently, an overnight p95 test passed with a 37x multiplier at 1.144v, and the booting issue is gradually improving—only briefly showing a black screen with low-resolution dots when voltage and core are adjusted. I’ll keep you posted as I continue to fine-tune it.
The ability to maintain full stability at 3.7GHz while 3.8 is not stable even at 1.176V depends on factors like component tolerances, thermal characteristics, and power supply stability. Smaller voltage margins or tighter tolerances can make higher frequencies less reliable.
It's probable you've reached the hardware constraint of that component.
It requires higher voltage to operate beyond the standard levels. You'll need to increase the voltage input.
