Hi, thank you. I hope my English is clear enough. My computer sometimes runs slow and feels warm a lot. It’s okay during gaming or editing; maybe the storage is the issue? I’m saving money to upgrade to a better M.2 drive for games and programs, and keeping 3.5mm for photos and videos. My PC gets cleaned regularly. I just changed the thermal paste on both the CPU and GPU—AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, ASUS ROG Strix X570-F, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, and the fans spin at 3200MHz. Everything seems fine. The power supply is a Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 360mm loop 360 with gold design, 850W. I also have a 5000D Corsair Vengeance RGB PSU with WD Blue SN550 SSD for 1TB NVMe M.2 (for Windows and system files). For storage, I have a Seagate Barracuda 120 1TB 2.5" SSD, two Seagate IronWolf 4TB HDDs, and an MSI 32" 4K monitor plus a 35" curved display.

It looks quite similar to my configuration. I own a X570 Dark Hero (previously had Wi-Fi, it broke), 5950x, 4090, watercooled. Originally I used the 5900, which allowed me to reach 44.00 with a multiplier boost. I’m planning to run HwInfo and let it record while you experiment. Pay attention to the voltages—there’s a reset button for the log. When the system runs smoothly during games but feels sluggish at idle? That could be due to BIOS settings first. I often tweak overclocking parameters, sometimes things get unstable. It seems my BIOS might be pushed too hard, especially with PBO features activated in the main screen. Second thought: it could be an overclocked machine overall. If not, maybe the AIO is aging and losing coolant faster at high temps. Since it’s a closed loop, this is likely inevitable. I have a custom water loop, but the 500ml reservoir loses about 10ml daily in hot conditions. If you’re gaming, PBO will probably kick in, causing core speeds to fluctuate between idle and full load. At idle, voltages should drop slightly, but not drastically. In reality, your issue might stem from LLC regulation. I recall similar problems after overclocking—AI suite saves settings, so GUI apps can shift fan curves. DIGI+ software may also cause constant recalibration if you change BIOS settings at startup. Overall, it’s probably a thermal or calibration problem that won’t resolve easily. If it’s still acting weird, keep the cooling system intact and avoid pushing it further.

My corsairs are at 3600, and my BCLK is at 1800. That's right, Vengeance RGB pros, 16x4.

I recall my 5900x idle around that temperature, it seems typical as long as it doesn't throttle under load. It's just something you have to accept with Ryzen. Without more info, I can't comment much, but if your PC often uses the HDD for data access—especially during demanding tasks—it may feel sluggish because the HDD becomes the slow part. My experience with a Strix 3080 running hot is similar, even when using undervolting.

It's typical for stock bios to behave this way. I often lose track of steps and suddenly things run much smoother. The GPU seems overheating because it's drawing power even in cold conditions—make sure the radiator is positioned correctly and is properly connected to the CPU. Your radiator is front-mounted, which can affect airflow. Try resetting or updating the BIOS, run a TPU II auto-tune, set RAM to DOCP, and ensure the GPU is functioning as expected.
