Are you aware of the drops when you don't check the counter? If not, then the focus shifts to frame calculations and maintaining smooth gameplay.
So in case anyone needed to know, I finally discovered the solution—it was quite unusual. Running the command "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" in the command prompt resolved the problem completely. It’s hard to believe it worked after a factory reset and BIOS upgrade, yet it functioned perfectly. Curious though, if anyone understands why that specific command line fixed something a reset couldn’t, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
This also worked for me, though I have to repeat it often and reset my computer each time.
I believe I'm facing a similar problem. My frame rate drops by about 25-45% until I restart the system, but there are no interruptions during gameplay. It usually occurs after switching games or opening a new session, then performance is poor from the beginning until I reboot. Restarting the game doesn't improve things. I've tried all common fixes—updated drivers, reinstalled Windows, updated BIOS—but nothing works for me. Could you suggest any alternative solutions?
