Hey there, the Skyrim special edition got a 144hz update that really improved performance. After that, the next patch brought it back down to 60hz, and now anyone above that speed can’t use it. Do you know if there’s a specific SLI profile recommended for running it?

The engine struggles to maintain over 60 frames per second, leading to unusual visual issues and unintended performance boosts. Several unresolved bugs have been fixed in the latest update.

They really should take a step back and focus, it’s disappointing for a 2016 title—it was unbelievable when the first version came out.

I enjoy those odd physics anomalies. I usually keep the speed over 60hz.

You adjust the settings so it operates beyond 60.

It's a 2011 game with improved visuals. Running it at 144hz will require a major engine update. The developers didn't offer support for the original version, which is understandable. Push through the Nvidia panel.

They changed it to dx11 using the new Fallout engine initially, while the original version ran at 144hz with some issues that you might have noticed.

TES and FO are generally related to modding and optimizing Skyrim. Since you've maxed it out, installing the SE version isn't necessary unless you want further tweaks. A downgrade wouldn't be required here.
