Drive , OS is obviously on (C
, steam is also on the (C
drive. Previously when I had Skyrim working with SKSE (and several other mods, and an ENB) I had skyrim installed on my C drive, but I have since move to an SSD and had to re-install (OS and the game obviously ). I attempted a barbaric CTRL+C and CTRL+V to get the EXACT Skyrim I had back then but some how I couldn't run the game on low setting without mods then, I then decided to redo the modding. Ask if you determine that more is required. I have been attempting to get this all to work several times now, every time the result is the same, SKSE will not initialize, everything else looks good. Additional questions (optional): What do you use/do to mod Skyrim? How do you backup your skyrim? Where do you have it installed? NOTE: If I decide to add information/details I will most likely edit the main post -no need to read every comment- pay attention to changes in the main post. Edited June 27, 2014 by sakketheengineer
Right, I need some help with getting SKSE to run. Ill start by giving the details. I downloaded SKSE from the link on Skyrim nexus -both the stable and the alpha/beta- And ran the installer, everything went well. But as soon as I install SkyUI (using NMM) and run the game (selected run Skyrim SKSE from NMM) I get and error from SkyUI saying that SKSE is not running (I also don't see the indication in the menu). I am certain that I did everything correctly, the installation went perfectly and I even used the SKSE launcher from the game directory it self. SKSE will simply not initialize no matter how I launch the game. My question is, what could cause this and how do I fix it? Do I need to use the "launch custom Skyrim" option? I know that will require me to set up some parameters, I have never had to do that with Skyrim. Additional information. I have Skyrim installed on my (E

Yes, I experience two cursors consistently. When I close and reopen my KB, I notice this issue. My keyboard inputs aren't registered properly after closing. After some adjustments, it seems to function occasionally—still, before closing and reopening, my KB inputs remain missing. EDIT: Problem resolved by manually managing the tab in and out. It worked randomly on the third attempt. Why does this game behave so unpredictably? Also, why is running as admin necessary now? I tried to explain my situation but didn’t realize switching drives would be important. Thanks. I put a lot of effort into this post, capitalized key words, and avoided mistakes.
Open it via the skse shortcut on your desktop. I encountered the same issue otherwise. Note: A "double cursor" solution exists for nexus.
Organizer? Will it cause any issues after you've already set up NMM and other mods in Skyrim? Also, I thought about moving the game to an SSD, but there isn't much room—BF4 with premium is already taking a lot. With the two upcoming DLCs, I'm left with around 16GB free. Could I rearrange everything on the SSD? I only have a few apps and two games besides BF4, which together use less than 3GB.
I'll remember that. For realism and graphical enhancements, consider adding texture packs and an ENB. You already have Frost-Fall and TR Basic setups—just need some new materials. Your 3-month save is safe, so starting over should be fine.
Use the Texture Pack Combiner to combine Skyrim HD 2k textures, Serious HD retexture, Skyrim Realistic Overhaul (backup link from hodilton: https://mega.co.nz/#!5cxRyRZQ!Xm3wHmCYWm...fHeg29W44Y). You might also consider Skyrim Ultra HD Texture Pack or Tamriel Reloaded - Textures and Parallax. For a realistic ENB, Seasons of Skyrim or Realvision are good choices. If you need a very demanding ENB (it could strain your system), try one of the K ENBs – the large file is available for download here: http://www.deadendthrills.com/forum/disc...kyrim-enbs. Unlinked files can be found on Skyrim Nexus. Also check out the recommended mods on the Realvision page!
This character texture pack is my top pick for all-in-one customization, though I think individual mods are more effective. Suggest pairing it with Brows, Superior Lore Friendly Hair, The Eyes of Beauty, and any hair pack you like. Don’t forget the Enhanced Character Edit—it really takes things to the next level compared to Racemenu’s options.
