As mentioned in the title, I haven't located Shadowmere anywhere. I also don't recall the exact location of the soul cairn, and after checking the Vampire castle, Shadowmere wasn't present. I plan to investigate further later if it proves useful. A quick note: Lydia is also missing, but she seems to have disappeared about 1-2 weeks ago, possibly permanently. I'm not sure if forgetting her affects item placement, but I'd like to have both Shadowmere and Lydia back for sentimental reasons. Edit: I just recalled a possible spot to search for Shadowmere.

I'm moving to the player. I'll check which IDs are required. The first command looks at the NPC, and the second sends them here. EDIT: Lydia: 000A2C94 Shadowmere: 0009CCD8

You launch the console and input the command to assign the Prid RefID 000A2C94 to Lydia.

Open the console, type the first line and press Enter. Then navigate to player using moveto, telling the NPC to teleport there. Note: If Lydia were dead, she would remain so after teleporting.
