Skyrim Online: Tamriel Unlimited offers endless adventures across the world of Tamriel.
Hey everyone, I’m thinking about purchasing games now. Just checked Skyrim Online from Tamriel and it looks free to play right after launch. As for subscriptions, it doesn’t seem like there’s a monthly fee like in WoW—just check the current offer.
Yes, I noticed it’s now called Skyrim Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The description mentions it’s free to play without any subscription, though there’s an option to pay for additional content. I also saw on YouTube that it’s only available during weekends.
I’m not entirely sure, though I remember there was a free week recently. I don’t play it often, so I’m not really familiar with it.
Consider getting Elder Scrolls: Skyrim with the DLC bundle. Hehehehe.
I briefly played the game on Steam, received a refund, and now it feels like a one-time purchase with no ongoing costs. Previously it was pay-to-play monthly, but the system has shifted.
They changed the model. Now you only need to buy the game (currently on sale on Steam) with no need to pay for the monthly subscription. There is a monthly subscription which you can pay for which gives you access to all the DLC plus a number of Crowns (in game currency for things like mounts). You can also purchase all the DLC separately if you would rather avoid any kind of subscription. I just picked the game up and am enjoying it. Going to see how much fun I am having before putting any more money in.
Thanks for your thoughts. I’m checking how many hours I have available now. I’m thinking about whether to buy it with one or two games from today’s list: Skyrim+add-ons, Dragons Dome, Dark Arisen, Rainbow Six Siege, Arma 3, and GTA V.
