Hey,. Just got my LG 34" ultra wide, but I am wondering if I can play skyrim in 21:9? I see an option for 2560 x 1440, but no 3440 x 1440 or even 2560 x 1080. Anyone have any experience with running 21:9 in skyrim? I saw a reddit post, but the solution did not work for me, nor the one on the steam page...

Screw that noise. http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ Flawless widescreen is love, flawless widescreen is life. To elaborate more, flawless widescreen fixes 99% of 21:9 aspect problems in games that don't natively support it and does it with basically zero effort. It's been an amazing tool since I got my ultra wide.

Absolutely, I appreciate the praise. The design is top-notch, and the developer is incredibly skilled. They’ve made it possible to play at 2560x1080p without any letterboxing, and they’ve adjusted the field of view within a couple of days after the release. It took them three weeks just to fix the letterbox removal issue.

I'm looking forward to seeing a 144hz 1440p IPS ultrawide display with VRR that's "cheap." <3

The Acer Predator was meant to deliver 3440x1440p with G-Sync, but it's now reported at just 75Hz. That dropped the performance for me since the cost stays around $1300. Still, hoping for better next year!

You need to adjust the settings so it supports a wider resolution. Check the app’s options for scaling or resolution changes to reach 3440 x 1440.

It doesn't follow the resolution... it focuses on aspect ratio... Fix must be enabled or not.

Edit the .ini file in your Skyrim folder to get the desired results. It's quite straightforward.
