Skyrim graphics mods can cause FPS problems.
Skyrim graphics mods can cause FPS problems.
Hey everyone, I'm facing some issues with my FPS in Skyrim despite having a powerful setup. My rig includes an i7 4790k and two GTX980 cards in SLI with 16GB RAM. I've installed several mods like Purevision ENB, Cinematic Fire, Lush Grass, and more. Everything seems to be working, but I'm only managing around 30-40 FPS at 1080p. With anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering turned off, it's still not ideal. Is this typical for my configuration, or is there something I should check?
Have you checked each mod individually to identify the one causing the biggest impact? Are there any additional issues beyond a low frame rate? I recall SFO previously affecting performance significantly under specific settings. It could be that certain other mods are interfering. You might find helpful advice on Nexus if no one here has a solution.
