You can still use the game even with your Intel i5 2557M and MacBook Air 2011. The issue was about needing Intel Graphics, but your system has Intel Graphics enabled, so it should run without problems.

From what I read, it should work, though it might perform poorly.

Great! You should be able to achieve that frame rate regardless.

The game needs a minimum of 512mb dedicated GPU memory. It's unclear what will happen, but with such an old CPU and GPU, the game is likely to crash or fail to run properly.

Isn't the HD 4000 suitable for the fourth generation? I'm not entirely confident you'll manage it on the second one.

HD 4000 is the third generation model. However, reports on Steam and Reddit often show comparable performance between Ivy and Sandy Bridge iGPUs in this title. Sometimes I consider their suggestions carefully. People suggesting Xeon chips for gaming... well, that's worth thinking about.

Sure, if you can secure them at a reduced cost without needing to boost performance, that would be a solid opportunity.

You purchased a fairly large game released in 2015, anticipating it would work well on a lighter system from 2011.
