This might be a bit unclear, but I own a Sky Q hub at home. In my bedroom the signal is a bit weak, while my friend provided me with another Sky Q hub. I'm considering using the older model as a booster to improve the Wi-Fi in my room. The hubs are ER110 and SR102. Sky Q supports 5GHz, but I'm not too concerned since only a few devices work on that frequency. An article suggests using it as a booster, but it needs to be connected to the main hub, which might reduce the benefit of placing them close together. Let me know if you can help ahead of time. Thanks, Gurky.

You could use powerline Ethernet adapters and link the second hub to your room hub while connecting the other hub to the main one. This configuration helps boost Wi-Fi coverage in your loft. A router in your room would allow you to plug Ethernet cables and receive a Wi-Fi signal. Insert the Ethernet cable into one of the hub sockets. For further assistance, feel free to ask.

It's important to mention you can work with any secondary router here, and it doesn't need to be a Sky-branded model, provided the connected phone socket is a Sky one.

I understood the passage, just wanted to confirm you're informed about alternatives if you obtain or replace it.

Ensure the connection is set up correctly by running multiple speed tests during the coming week. No problems are expected.

You're experiencing a loop where the second box repeatedly returns to its initial IP address.

Check if your device is connected to the internet via the second box.
