I just set up Ubuntu on one side of my SSD as a backup system but mostly use Windows. I need to remove the Grub menu and restore it later if needed. After installing EasyBCD, it says my default boot is Windows 10, even though I let Grub timeout and it boots Ubuntu instead. How can I switch back to Windows as the default and bring back Grub?

In UEFI mode, you should find a setting in the BIOS under the Boot section labeled something like "UEFI Hard Drive BBS Priorities." Adjusting it will set Windows as the default boot option, and you can access Ubuntu by opening the Boot Menu (press F11 on MSI boards). Another approach is modifying the GRUB configuration, though I’m not very experienced with that.

I’ve already adjusted the boot order settings in BIOS to resolve the issue. Spending about 20 minutes trying to figure it out usually leads me to ask the question on the forum, and then my mind starts processing things again within a few seconds.
