Switching from the 6c/6t i5 9600K to the 12c/24t R9 5900X shows minimal impact when gaming at 1440p with an RTX 2060 Super. The experience feels nearly identical, and benchmark results stay close together. There might be slight improvements, but doubting the difference highlights it’s not significant. For mid-range graphics cards like the RTX 3060 or RX 6600, playing single-player games at higher settings means investing in a better card only makes sense after upgrading.

It seems like someone is comparing performance expectations for these processors. A 12.7GHz chip would likely challenge the i9-10920X, and even a 12.6GHz model could push it further. They expect better results overall.
