Hello, I'm Matheus, a Brazilian graphic designer. After updating my MAC OS to Sonoma, searching archives on my external drive stopped working. The Spotlight feature online only fixes it briefly, usually within an hour. Could someone assist me?

Sonoma made adjustments with SMB. I've noticed problems with SMB at work using different apps on a single Sonoma machine. You might want to eject and remount the external drive if you haven't done so already.

I've confirmed the issue with various external drives, and they all experienced the same problem.

Unfortunately, I can't try any external drives on the Sonoma machine right now because it's being used by its main user. The problem might be related to Sonoma not supporting exFAT or another format those drives use.
