I enjoy X-Plane 10 Global. Although I don<|pad|> a personal copy, I’ve heard from a pilot who assembled a 747 cockpit using vintage components. It’s a really cool and adaptable simulator.

BeamNG.Drive offers decent driving dynamics, though the collisions are impressive.

Since I do flight simulators, I absolutely MUST recommend IL-2 (any version, they're all good, just make sure if you get an older one you are running windows 7 and willing to take a risk) and Rise of Flight. IL-2 is WWII, and the damage models are amazing, even though the first IL-2 was made in 2006. Rise of Flight is made in association with the creators of IL-2, but it is also much more recent, thus you can expect good graphics, and an even MORE amazing damage model. I will warn you though, these are not for the faint of flyers. Even on easiest settings you will have trouble staying in the air, let alone alive while fighting enemies. But this is because they are both simulators , not arcade. If you have tried War Thunder, it is easier than either of these, even the "sim battles" are easier than full on difficulties with these. Another thing just before I go though, if you do spend any amount of effort on RoF or IL-2, you will get better, and once you can fly even reasonably well, you will start wrecking the AI, then you once beat the hardest level of AI in matched aircraft, you can try your hand at multiplayer. Oh wait one more last last thing, the communities of these titles are awesome! You can find help for anything.

Euro truck Sim 2 works well, FSX Steam edition offers enjoyment for those who enjoy it. For space enthusiasts, Kerbal Space Program provides a great experience.
