Hi all,
I'm using an AMD 860k CPU with a stock cooler and considering a replacement. I've found this cooler that fits FM2+ sockets, but I'm cautious since my warranty prevents me from removing the motherboard. Could anyone share their experience with this CPU and how straightforward the installation was?

It wouldn't be necessary to remove the module, which means you don't have to void the warranty that way.

Cooler Master states it can fit into FM2 sockets. They typically include several brackets for stability. However, you'll need to have access to the motherboard's back panel to install it, which is important if you're using a prebuilt unit.

How long do you own that PC and what is the duration of the warranty? I've been using it for a few months and have about a year remaining on the warranty.
