Hello, I own an old Dell laptop from my uncle with the specs you mentioned: Core i3 330M/M330, 2.2GHz, 2 cores, 4GB RAM, 2x2GB DDR3, Intel GMA 315, 500GB SSD. I want to run some casual games on it—graphics quality isn’t important as long as the story is solid. Currently playing CrossCode, GTA San Andreas, Virtua Tennis 4 (640x480), and Stardew Valley. I’m hoping for at least 30fps. Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Many enjoyable titles came out between 2000 and 2010. Metacritic offers a chart where you can sort by year: https://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/...w=detailed

I've tested Minecraft with TLAUNCHER 1.16.5 and even at the lowest configurations I'm only getting around 30 frames per second. I'm planning to switch to other games soon.

Classic Runescape if you're looking to dive deep into a gaming rabbit hole for a while, haha!

Samurai-themed titles need to work smoothly on your system—they’re essential for any player! Devil May Cry 3 lets you battle demons with stunning characters! Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy offers solid gameplay despite some criticisms.

Investigate thoroughly in each area, unlock hidden rooms and chests, study documents and messages. The experience is highly customizable based on choices made in conversations.

FTL. Super Meat Boy, Fallout 1-2, Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate, StarCraft 1, The Lost Vikings, Rock N' Roll Racing are available. Worms Armageddon and similar titles are supported on Windows 7. Emulators for Nintendo, Sega, Sony cover a wide range of cult classics from past consoles. Generally, any 2D game with 3D elements from the early 2000s and not recently updated should work on Windows 7. Alternatively, use streaming services like Nvidia Now (free tier) to play games from your Steam library on Nvidia servers—needs a strong wired connection for optimal performance.

The steam edition seems incompatible with your setup. The GOG patch allows it on newer systems, but not via Steam. You might try a lower resolution version if you want to test.

Minecraft with Sodium Iris would be ideal. Sodium works similarly to Optifine for optimization, while Iris focuses on shaders. You could run Sodium as a single mod, but the Iris Sodium installer is simpler. Stardew Valley might suit you? Terraria could be another option? Plants vs Zombies is also a possibility? Minesweeper, Tetris, Solitaire, Chess (online or local) are great math games.
