As long as you have a data plan compatible with your SIM card, it should work. Check the usage terms from the SIM provider to confirm you meet the limits and conditions (like monthly caps or speeds). Make sure your location is covered by the cellular network. In the UK, they still refer to cell phones as "mobiles," though SIM cards were originally designed for mobile use. As long as you follow the initial guidelines, there should be no issues. Using cellular data for home internet isn’t ideal, but it’s acceptable if no other options exist in remote areas or for short-term needs. Just activate the SIM on a real device before moving to the CPE.
