I'm not sure if anyone has encountered this before, but I was evaluating my 100 Gbps Infiniband network in Windows 10 21H2 using WSL2 and Cygwin. The speeds varied greatly between my AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Intel Core i9-12900K systems. Both had 128 GB RAM, a Mellanox ConnectX-4 card with dual VPI 100 Gbps ports, and a direct-attached cable to an external managed switch. They also used a 1 TB HDD with 7200 rpm. Both ran Windows 10 21H2 (new install). You have any insights on why performance differences are so large between WSL2 and Cygwin?
