Significant speech interruptions during virtual gaming (unexpected?)
I'm experiencing an unusual stutter in online games, not like smooth movement but a slow motion effect where the image jumps left to right with noticeable gaps. This issue doesn't occur when playing offline. Initially, I thought it might be related to my PC, but checking the MSI logs showed normal frame times (around 144 FPS). There are occasional slight fluctuations up and down, which seems unusual. I had an engineer from my ISP inspect my connection and everything was fine. My suspicion is that the problem might come from the router. The ISP sent another device, but it also had the same issue. Need advice.
What type of internet connection do you use? Which speeds are you subscribed to? Which details appear in DSLReports' speed test results? What is your router's brand and model? Are you streaming these games via WiFi or Ethernet? Is there additional traffic on the network during gameplay? There’s plenty to check...
Fibre Broadband provides a consistent 75MB download speed and 19 Mbps upload according to speedtest.net. It's an ISP-branded router operating over Ethernet, handling only my own traffic without external interference. The performance isn't fluctuating wildly, but rather showing slight variations that resemble unstable network conditions.
