I chose to reload my save file after not playing for nearly a year, but it became extremely slow, taking several minutes to reach the main menu. My setup includes a Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR YD with an RTX 3080 and an Intel 11th gen 11980HK processor. The game's launcher indicated my Intel drivers were outdated, so I followed the provided link to install the latest detection software from Intel. This updated the CPU driver and improved startup performance, though frame rates remained low. I reduced the resolution to 1080p, refreshed Windows, updated the NVIDIA driver, disabled ray tracing, set crowd density to low, adjusted power settings, prioritized the NVIDIA GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel (especially for Cyberpunk), and checked the Task Manager. It showed my CPU near full load while the GPU hit 36%, but the Nvidia tool claimed GPU 2 was at 100%—which it actually is, for the RTX 3080. I played with the saved settings from my last session, and lag only occurred when the device was disconnected from power. The attached image shows the game running at low graphics. I’m stuck and just want to enjoy the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Navigate to Desktop > Display Settings > Graphics. Locate Cyberpunk 2077 or map the executable, then choose GPU Preference as High Performance GPU. Windows configurations generally override the Nvidia driver settings.

It was also something I had done before, yet I wasn't getting results.

I have also fully reinstalled the game and confirmed the files in Steam.
