Hi, after setting up the 970 EVO Plus I noticed a big drop in FPS during games. Before that, with the 850 EVO it worked perfectly. The M.2 SSD is in the main slot and operating at its maximum speed as confirmed in BIOS. The GPU is also running at PCIe 3.0 x16. What are your thoughts? Your other PC specs include an MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon with 32GB RAM at 3200MHz dual channels, a Ryzen 2700X processor, an NH-D15 7x Noctua 140mm fans, and a Corsair HX750i.

How extensive is a huge measurement? Have you verified that the XMP profile remains active in the BIOS?

The main concern is whether the drive was transferred from one location to another or if a fresh installation occurred.

Consider if the virtual memory settings were altered mistakenly. Click right-click, select Start, then System, go to Advanced Settings, choose Performance Settings, then Advanced, and adjust Virtual Memory. It should be set to auto and range in large MBs.

Remaining active. Benchmarking CPU and GPU individually showed acceptable outcomes. Performance drops appear only in games requiring coordinated effort, where both components operate under heavy load.

It is running on Auto with roughly 4000MB allocated. Adjustments are made only for a few megabytes after several days of use.
