I'm facing an unusual problem with Minecraft Bedrock Edition. My frame rate jumps to 210fps and then suddenly drops to around 30fps. It seems like the transition is gradual rather than abrupt. I'm currently at 12 chunks, and here are my system details: an Intel i7-10875H RTX 3070 with 16GB RAM.

Ensure OptiFine is installed. Minecraft often experiences large frame drops when loading chunks without it. Adjust all settings in the video performance section after installation.

Optifine isn't limited to the Java version. You're experiencing a problem with it in Minecraft on Windows 10 or Bedrock edition.
