Hey. Occasionally my monitors lose connection and the computer restarts. I see the GPU fans cease when the signal drops. With a HDMI/DP setup, sometimes after a restart I hear one long beep followed by three short ones, or it boots fine. The last time it didn’t boot at all—it just beeped once and showed no signal, so I had to remove the HDMI monitor. Recently I swapped out the extension cable for a surge protector, and now this issue seems more frequent, though it happened before. I remember plugging in a USB into the rear port last time; signal vanished for about ten seconds, then the PC tried to reboot. Could you suggest what might be causing this or how to fix it? It happens about once a week, but twice today since the cable change—seems tricky to diagnose. I’m currently using just one monitor. CPU: B550 Aorus Pro V2, CPU core 5800X, GPU 1070, PSU RM850, RAM: 2x 16GB 3200MHz.

The temperatures look good for the 1070.

Thermals typically range between 40-45°C during this situation. I'm using 'Open Hardware Monitor' to track it. Its reliability isn't clear.
