I'm experiencing a slow download for Witcher 3. It began at around 2MB/s but has dropped to nearly 0.5MB/s even with no other apps running. In Task Manager, my transfer rates are about 100Kbp/s incoming and 4.8MB/s outgoing. Could this be affecting the speed? I have a stable connection, the router is nearby, and I see full signal bars. Recently, another game downloaded quickly at over 3.5MB/s. What could be causing the difference? Also, why does my download speed feel so much slower than my incoming rate? Network speed is rated in bits vs bytes (for storage). There are 8 bits in a byte. So 5Mb/s (megabits) / 8 = 0.625 MB/s (Megabytes). There's also some overhead loss so 0.5 MB/s is pretty normal. As for the download speed, honestly could be anything (other people on the network, ISP slow down, download server slowdown (unlikely), etc.) Download an app like WiFi analyzer and see if anyone is causing interference on your WiFi channels
