I’m looking for a Wi-Fi connection for your B450 tomahawk. You mentioned whether you need a PCIE card or a USB Wi-Fi adapter. Since you don’t have a CD drive, you’ll likely need to install drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Check the product page you shared for setup instructions—usually you just plug in the adapter and follow on-screen prompts. If it doesn’t work, downloading the appropriate drivers online should resolve the issue.

I wouldn't use it with a ten-foot pole—it won't fit well and might overheat. What bandwidth do you have? Do you have a budget limit? I recommend checking out the product at https://www.frys.com/product/8730881?sit...IN_RSLT_PG. Ideally, look for something that includes its own antenna, so you can position it away from the PC back, like the one on https://amzn.to/2wGVMI1 or the next option listed.

I went to pick something up and someone took their stock. I’m okay paying a bit extra. I ended up placing my box in my room using a one-foot cable (not perfect). Would you consider an Amazon link as the top choice?

Your bandwidth is 500 megabits per second and your upload limit is 125 megabytes.

To achieve those high speeds over WiFi, you’d need a 802.11ac device—either a stick or card with multiple antennas—and ideally your access point should support those rates. The small device you mentioned is only 802.11n and can only reach about 50Mbps.
