I have an old LG G7, and live in a semi-rural area where t-mobile's (my cell provider) coverage is a bit notorious. Moving out here I figured I'd make do, but found that after a couple months my signal improved dramatically. Speeds arent super impressive, but I found it reliable within reason. About a month ago though, my signal degraded to the point where I only get service if my antenna is almost completely unobstructed. I have to be outside to get any service, and covering the phone with my hands degrades signal quality a lot. I've done every troubleshooting step I can think save only a full factory reset of my phone, and multiple calls to t-mobile customer service have not yet resolved the issue. I can still see my network when I manually search for network operators, but registration fails consistently. This leaves me wondering if the issue is on my end or on the network's. Is there any way for me to tell if this is an issue on my end on either the hardware or software side? Can I properly test the radio on my phone? The shift was sudden
